Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centre
The Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centre is an inter-faculty unit of the University, operating within the Institute of Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy. The Centre provides assistance to students, academic and administrative staff.
The Centre's task is the psychological and pedagogical diagnosis, counselling, psycho-logical assistance, coaching, speech therapy and short-term psychotherapy. These tasks are performed by persons employed at the Jesuit University:
- psychologists, educators
- persons authorized to provide coaching advice
- addiction therapists on the basis of a certificate of completion of training in this field
- psychotherapists who are competent to practise this profession, confirmed by a certificate or diploma from a four- or five-year school of psychotherapy or a certificate of internship at a school of psychotherapy and who are in supervision
Clinical procedures are used in the Centre:
- psychological diagnosis
- addiction diagnostics
- guidance
- consultative and educational activities
- coaching
- short-term psychotherapy
The Centre may also include workshops and training for Ignatianum students and employees.
